حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ، قَرَأَ الْمُصْحَفَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ "، قَالَ : وَكَانَ ثَابِتٌ يَفْعَلُهُ
Muslim bin Ibrahim narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Thabit narrated to us, he said: “When Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila used to pray the morning prayer, he would recite The Qur’an until the sun rises.” He said: Thabit used to do that.
