Amr bin Asim told us, Hammad told us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Al-Shabi, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: “Whoever recites four verses from the beginning Surah Al-Baqarah, the verse of the Throne, and two verses after the verse of the Throne, and three from the end of Surah Al-Baqarah. Neither he nor his family approached him on that day. Satan, and there is nothing he hates, and the Qur’an is not recited to an insane person unless he regains consciousness.”
