Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #2745

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ :" مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ، كَمَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ "
Abdullah bin Saleh told us, Al-Layth told us, Yunus told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Abu Salamah told me that Abu Hurairah He said: “God has not given permission to anything, as He has given permission to a prophet who sings of the Qur’an.”
