Ya'la told us, Al-A'mash told us, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Aisha, who said: Safiyya had her period, so when it was the night before Al-Nafar, she said: that is, my throat, that is, my backbone! In their language.
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Did you not circumambulate the Day of Sacrifice?” She said: Yes.
He said: “Then ride.”
Sahl bin Hammad told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Al-Hakam, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Al-Aswad, on the authority of Aisha, something similar.
