أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : أَعْطَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَنَمًا أَقْسِمُهَا عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ،فَقَسَمْتُهَا وَبَقِيَ مِنْهَا عَتُودٌ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : " ضَحِّ بِهِ ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : الْعَتُودُ : الْجَذَعُ مِنْ الْمَعْزِ

Abu Al-Walid told us, Al-Layth told us, Yazid bin Abi Habib told me, on the authority of Abu Al-Khair, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: He gave me The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, distributed sheep among his friends. I divided them and some of them were left over. I mentioned that to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Sacrifice him.”
