أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزَّبِيدِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ بِمِنًى :" أَصْلِحْ لَنَا مِنْ هَذَا اللَّحْمِ " فَأَصْلَحْتُ لَهُ مِنْهُ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ

Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Yahya bin Hamza told us, Muhammad bin Al-Walid Al-Zubaidi told me, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Jubayr bin Nufair, my father told me that he heard Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me While we were in Mina, he said, “Make this meat good for us.” So I made some of it for him, and he did not stop eating from it until we reached Medina.
