Affan bin Muslim told us, Hammam told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Samurah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Every A boy is held hostage for his aqeeqah, which will be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, and he will be shaved and bloodied.”
Qatadah used to describe the blood, saying: When the aqeeqah is slaughtered, a wool is taken and the jugular veins of the sacrifice are used with it, then it is placed on the boy’s fontanel. Even if something like a thread drips, his head is washed, then shaved.
Affan told us, Aban told us, with this hadith, he said: It is called.
Abdullah said: I do not consider it obligatory
