Yazid bin Harun informed us, Dawud bin Abi Hind informed us, on the authority of Amir, on the authority of Muhammad bin Safwan, that he passed by the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, greeted two rabbits that he had hung, and said: “O Messenger of God, I entered my family’s sheep and hunted these two rabbits, but I did not find anything sharp.” I slaughtered them with it, so I slaughtered them with water. Shall I eat? He said: “Yes.”
