أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا، أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، جَائِزَتَهُ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً، وَالضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ صَدَقَةٌ "

Yazid bin Harun told us, Muhammad bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id, on the authority of Abu Shurayh Al-Khuza’i, he said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, says: “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor, and whoever believes in God and the Last Day The other, let him say good things, or let him be silent, and whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his guest, and reward him day and night. Hospitality is for three days, and after that is charity.”
