Sa'id bin Amir told us, on the authority of Shu'bah, on the authority of Ata' bin Al-Sa'ib, on the authority of Sa'id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed May God bless him and grant him peace. A handful of porridge was brought to him, or he said: a piece of porridge, and he said: “Eat from its edges, or he said: its sides, and do not eat from in the middle of it, for the blessing descends in the middle of it.”
