حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا أُتِيَتْ بِثَرِيدٍ، أَمَرَتْ بِهِ فَغُطِّيَ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ فَوْرَةُ دُخَانِهِ، وَتَقُولُ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" هُوَ أَعْظَمُ لِلْبَرَكَةِ "
Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, on the authority of Qurra ibn Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Urwa, On the authority of Asma’ bint Abi Bakr, that whenever she brought porridge, she would order it to be covered until the smoke went away, and she would say: I I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say: “It is the greatest blessing.”
