أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَيَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ "

Muhammad bin Isa told us, Ibrahim bin Saad told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Ja’far, he said: “I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace be upon him, may eat cucumbers with fresh dates.”
