حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ :" أُهْدِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَمْرٌ فَأَخَذَ يُهَدِّيهِ "

Abu Nu’aym told us, Mus’ab bin Sulaym told us, he said: I heard Anas bin Malik say: “Dates were given as a gift to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Then he began to guide him.”
