أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : زُلْزِلَتْ الْأَرْضُ عَلَى عَهْدِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَأُخْبِرَ بِذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّا كُنَّا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ K نَرَى الْآيَاتِ بَرَكَاتٍ، وَأَنْتُمْ تَرَوْنَهَا تَخْوِيفًا، بَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ إِذْ حَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا مَاءٌ إِلَّا يَسِيرٌ، " فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَاءٍ فِي صَحْفَةٍ، وَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ فِيهِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَتْبَجِّسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ "، ثُمَّ نَادَى :" حَيَّ عَلَى الْوَضُوءِ، وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ "، قالَ : فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ فَتَوَضَّئُوا، وَجَعَلْتُ لَا هَمَّ لِي إِلَّا مَا أُدْخِلُهُ بَطْنِي لِقَوْلِهِ : " وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ "، فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ سَالِمَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، فَقَالَ : كَانُوا خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ مِئَةٍ

Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numayr told us, Abu Al-Jawab told us, on the authority of Ammar bin Ruzaiq, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Alqamah, on the authority of Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, said: The earth shook during the reign of Abdullah, so he was informed of that, and he said: We were companions Muhammad K We see the verses as blessings, while you see them as a threat, while we were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a journey when prayer came. “And there is no water with us except a little.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called for water in a bowl, and placed his palm in it, and the water began to gush out from between his fingers.” Then he called: “Come on, perform the ablution, and the blessing is from God.” He said: So the people came and performed their ablutions, and I was left with no concern except what I would enter. My stomach, because of his saying: “Blessing is from God.” So I told Salim bin Abi Al-Ja’d about him, and he said: They were fifteen hundred.
