أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ خُدْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي حُرَيْشٍ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي حِينَ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَلَمَّا أَخَذَتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ أُرْعِبْتُ،" فَضَمَّنِي إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَالَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَرَقِ إِبْطِهِ مِثْلُ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ "

Muhammad bin Yazid Al-Rifa’i told us, Abu Bakr told us, on the authority of Habib bin Khudra, a man from Banu Harish told me, he said: I was with my father When the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, stoned Ma’iz bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, when the stones seized him, I was terrified.
