أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً مِنْ أَهْلِ خَيْبَرَ سَمَّتْ شَاةً مَصْلِيَّةً، ثُمَّ أَهْدَتْهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا الذِّرَاعَ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، وَأَكَلَ الرَّهْطُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مَعَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ "، وَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْيَهُودِيَّةِ فَدَعَاهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " أَسَمَمْتِ هَذِهِ الشَّاةَ؟ "، فَقَالَتْ : نَعَمْ، وَمَنْ أَخْبَرَكَ؟، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَخْبَرَتْنِي هَذِهِ فِي يَدِيَ : لِلذِّرَاعِ "، قَالَتْ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " فَمَاذَا أَرَدْتِ إِلَى ذَلِكَ؟ "، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : إِنْ كَانَ نَبِيًّا لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيًّا، اسْتَرَحْنَا مِنْهُ، " فَعَفَا عَنْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَمْ يُعَاقِبْهَا "، وَتُوُفِّيَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ الَّذِينَ أَكَلُوا مِنْ الشَّاةِ، " وَاحْتَجَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى كَاهِلِهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الَّذِي أَكَلَ مِنْ الشَّاةِ "، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو هِنْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ، بِالْقَرْنِ وَالشَّفْرَةِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ بَنِي ثُمَامَةَ، وَهُمْ حَيٌّ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ

Al-Hakam bin Nafi’ told us, Shuaib bin Abi Hamza told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: Jabir bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, was It narrates that a Jewish woman from the people of Khaybar poisoned a praying sheep, then presented it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took He extended his arm from it and ate from it, and the group of his companions ate with him, then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to them: “Raise your hands.” The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent to the Jewish woman and summoned her, and said to her: “Did you poison this sheep?” She said: Yes, and who told you? So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “You told me this is in my hand: for the arm.” She said: Yes. He said: “So what did you want by that?” She said: I said: If he was a prophet, it would not harm him, and if he was not a prophet, we would be relieved of him. “Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, pardoned her and did not punish her.” And some of his companions who ate from the sheep died, “and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used cupping on his shoulder because of the one who ate from the sheep.” Abu Hind is a client of Banu Bayadah, by horn and blade, and he is from Banu Thumama, and they are still alive from the Ansar.
