أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ :" إِنَّكُمْ لَتَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا كُنَّا نَسْأَلُ عَنْهَا، وَتُنَقِّرُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا كُنَّا نُنَقِّرُ عَنْهَا، وَتَسْأَلُونَ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ مَا أَدْرِي مَا هِيَ، وَلَوْ عَلِمْنَاهَا مَا حَلَّ لَنَا أَنْ نَكْتُمُكُمُوهَا "

Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Muadh bin Muadh told us, on the authority of Ibn Aoun, he said: Al-Qasim said: “You will ask about certain things. We used to ask about them, and you used to talk about things that we did not talk about, and you asked about things that I did not know what they were, and if we had known about them, it would not have happened. It is ours to conceal from you.”
