حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ ، عَنْ حَفْصٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ :" مَا سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَقُولُ قَطُّ : حَلَالٌ وَلَا حَرَامٌ، إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَقُولُ : كَانُوا يَتَكْرَهُونَ، وَكَانُوا يَسْتَحِبُّونَ "

Harun told us, on the authority of Hafs, on the authority of Al-A’mash, he said: “I never heard Abraham say: lawful and unlawful. Rather, he used to say: they were They disliked it, but they used to like it.”
