أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَسْلَمَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ ، عَنْ بِلَادِ بْنِ عِصْمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ : وَكَانَ إِذَا كَانَ عَشِيَّةَ الْخَمِيسِ لَيْلَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ، قَامَ فَقَالَ :" إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْقَوْلِ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ G وَإِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَالشَّقِيُّ مَنْ شَقِيَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ، وَإِنَّ شَرَّ الرَّوَايَا رَوَايَا الْكَذِبِ، وَشَرَّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا، وَكُلَّ مَا هُوَ آتٍ قَرِيبٌ "

Muhammad bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq Al-Fazari, on the authority of Aslam Al-Manqari, on the authority of Bilad bin Asmah, he said: I heard Abdullah Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, said: And when it was the eve of Thursday on Friday night, he got up and said: “The truest word is the word of God, and The best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the wretched is he who is wretched in his mother’s womb, and the worst narrations are narrations of lies, and the worst of matters its newly created things, and everything that is coming is near.”
