Malik bin Ismail told us, Masoud bin Saad Al-Jufi’i told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of Abdullah bin Rabi’ah, on the authority of Salman, may God be pleased with him, said: “People will continue to be well as long as the first remains to learn or teach the other, for if the first perishes before he can teach… Or the other learns, the people perish.”
