أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ ، أَنَّ الْمُهَاصِرَ بْنَ حَبِيبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى :" إِنِّي لَسْتُ كُلَّ كَلَامِ الْحَكِيمِ أَتَقَبَّلُ، وَلَكِنِّي أَتَقَبَّلُ هَمَّهُ وَهَوَاهُ، فَإِنْ كَانَ هَمُّهُ وَهَوَاهُ فِي طَاعَتِي، جَعَلْتُ صَمْتَهُ حَمْدًا لِي وَوَقَارًا، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ "

Muhammad bin Al-Mubarak told us, Baqiya told us, Sadaqah bin Abdullah bin Suhayb told us, that Al-Mahasir bin Habib told us, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: God Almighty said: “I do not accept all the words of a wise man, but I accept his concern and inclination. His concern and desire are in obeying me, I made his silence a praise and reverence for me, even if he did not speak.”
