Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #3027

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَعَنْ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ "، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : أَمَا تَحْفَظُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدِيثًا غَيْرَ هَذَا؟، قَالَ : بَلَى، وَلَكِنْ أَقُولُ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : قَالَ عَلْقَمَةُ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ
Ishaq bin Isa told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Abu Hashim, on the authority of Ibrahim, he said: “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade And he spoke about the Muhaqil and the Muzabanah. It was said to him: Have you not memorized any hadith from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, a hadith other than this? He said: Yes, but I say: Abdullah said: Alqamah said, more beloved to me.
