أَخْبَرَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، إِذَا حَدَّثَ حَدِيثًا، قَالَ :" اللَّهُمَّ إِلَّا هَكَذَا، أَوْ كَشَكْلِهِ "

Asad bin Musa told us, Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Rabi’ah bin Yazid, he said: Abu Al-Darda’, may God be pleased with him, when he narrated a hadith, he said “O God, except like this, or something like it.”
