أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قُطْبَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ : كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ،" يُحَدِّثُنَا فِي الشَّهْرِ بِالْحَدِيثَيْنِ، أَوْ الثَّلَاثَةِ "

Asim bin Yusuf told us, Abu Bakr told us, on the authority of Abu Husayn, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Thabit bin Qutbah Al-Ansari, he said: It was Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, “tells us two or three hadiths during the month.”
