أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ :" إِذَا رَأَيْتَ قَوْمًا يُنْتِجُونَ بِأَمْرٍ دُونَ عَامَّتِهِمْ، فَهُمْ عَلَى تَأْسِيسِ الضَّلَالَةِ "

Muhammad bin Kathir told us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, he said: Omar bin Abdul Aziz said: “If you see a people producing a matter without Their generality, they are on the foundations of misguidance.”
