أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ وَاثِلَةَ بْنَ الْأَسْقَعِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ فَأَدْرَكَهُ، كَانَ لَهُ كِفْلَانِ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ، كَانَ لَهُ كِفْلٌ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ "

Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Yazid bin Rabi’ah Al-San’ani told us, Rabi’ah bin Yazid told us, he said: I heard Wathilah bin Al-Asqa’. May God be pleased with him, he says: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Whoever seeks knowledge and attains it, will have two doubles of reward. overtakes him, he will have a sufficient amount of reward.”
