Abu Al-Mughirah told us, Al-Awza’i told us, Harun bin Ri’ab told me, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, that He used to say: “Become a scholar or a learner, and do not go tomorrow in between, for what is in between is ignorant, and the angels spread their wings to a man.” Tomorrow he seeks knowledge out of contentment with what he does.”
