أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِهْرَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، قَالَ :" ذَهَبَ عُمَرُ بِثُلُثَيْ الْعِلْمِ "، فَذَكَرْتُ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَقَالَ : " ذَهَبَ عُمَرُ بِتِسْعَةِ أَعْشَارِ الْعِلْمِ "

Muhammad bin Humayd told us, Mihran told us, Abu Sinan told us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Amr bin Maymun, he said: “Umar went With two-thirds of knowledge.” So I mentioned it to Abraham, and he said: “Omar took away nine-tenths of knowledge.”
