أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَجْلَحِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ :" طَلَبْنَا هَذَا الْعِلْمَ وَمَا لَنَا فِيهِ كَبِيرُ نِيَّةٍ، ثُمَّ رَزَقَ اللَّهُ بَعْدُ فِيهِ النِّيَّةَ "

Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Abdullah bin Al-Ajlah told us, my father told me, on the authority of Mujahid, he said: “We sought this knowledge and what We had great intention in it, then God provided for it after that intention.”
