Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abu Qalaba, he said: Abu Muslim Al-Khawlani said: There are three scholars: a man who lived in his knowledge and the people lived with him in it, a man who lived in his knowledge but no one lived with him in it, and a man in whom the people lived in it. His knowledge and it was a scourge for him.”
