أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي بَقِيَّةُ ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" وَمَا نَحْنُ لَوْلَا كَلِمَاتُ الْعُلَمَاءِ؟ "

Al-Hakam bin Al-Mubarak told us, he said: Baqiyya told me, on the authority of Utba bin Abi Hakim, on the authority of Abu Al-Darda’, may God be pleased with him, he said: What would we be without the words of scholars?
