أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، قَالَ :" مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْ النَّاسِ الشَّرِيفُ وَالْوَضِيعُ عِنْدَهُ سَوَاءٌ غَيْرَ طَاوُسٍ وَهُوَ يَحْلِفُ عَلَيْهِ "

Bishr ibn al-Hakam told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibn Maysara, he said: “I have not seen any of the people, the noble and the lowly, with whom A peacock while he was swearing on it.”
