أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ ضُرَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ " أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَرِهَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ "

Muhammad ibn Humayd informed us, Harun ibn al-Mughirah informed us, and Yahya ibn Dhurays informed us, on the authority of Amr ibn Abi Qais, on the authority of Ata’. “Abu Abd al-Rahman disliked talking on the road.”
