Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Saeed bin Bashir told us, on the authority of Qatada, he said: Ibn Sirin narrated a hadith to a man, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. And peace be upon him, and a man said: So-and-so said: Such-and-such, and Ibn Sirin said: “I am telling you on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and you say: So-and-so and so-and-so said: Such and such, I never speak to you.”
