أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَتِفٍ فِيهِ كِتَابٌ، فَقَالَ :" كَفَى بِقَوْمٍ ضَلَالًا أَنْ يَرْغَبُوا عَمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِلَى مَا جَاءَ بِهِ نَبِيٌّ غَيْرُ نَبِيِّهِمْ، أَوْ كِتَابٌ غَيْرُ كِتَابِهِمْ "، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ G : # أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَى لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ سورة العنكبوت آية 51 #

Muhammad ibn Ahmad informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Amr, on the authority of Yahya ibn Ja`dah, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was brought. With a shoulder containing a book, he said: “It is sufficient for a people to go astray if they desire what their prophet brought, or what a prophet other than their own brought, or a book.” Other than their Book.” Then God revealed: “Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you a Book that is to be recited to them? Indeed, in that is a mercy and a reminder for a people.” They believe in Surah Al-Ankabut, Verse 51 #
