أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ كِتَابِ الْعِلْمِ، فَقَالَ :" لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ "

Ahmad bin Issa told us, Ibn Wahb told us, on the authority of Muawiyah, on the authority of Al-Hasan bin Jabir, that he asked Abu Umamah Al-Bahili, may God be pleased with him. On the authority of the Book of Knowledge, he said: “There is no problem with that.”
