أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ :" فِتْنَةٌ لِلْمَتْبُوعِ، مَذَلَّةٌ لِلتَّابِعِ "

Muhammad bin Humayd told us, Jarir told us, on the authority of Mughirah, on the authority of Sa`id bin Jubayr, he said: “A trial for the one who is followed, a humiliation for the follower.”
