Muhammad bin Issa told us, Abbad, who is Ibn Al-Awwam, told us, on the authority of Awf, on the authority of Abu Al-Aliya, he said: I asked Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him. About something, he said: O Abu Al-Aaliyah, do you want to be a mufti? I said: “No, but I do not believe that you will go and we will stay,” so he said: Abu Al-Aaliya spoke the truth.”
