أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ :" كَانَ عَبِيدَةُ يَأْتِي عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كُلَّ خَمِيسٍ، فَيَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ غَابَ عَنْهَا، فَكَانَ عَامَّةُ مَا يُحْفَظُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِمَّا يَسْأَلُهُ عَبِيدَةُ عَنْهُ "

Muhammad bin Issa told us, Ubad told us, on the authority of Husayn, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said: “Ubaidah used to bring Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, every… On a Thursday, he would ask him about things he had missed, and that was generally what was learned from Abdullah and what Ubaidah would ask him about.”
