Sunan al-Darimi – سنن الدارمي – Hadith #3366

أَخْبَرَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ حُنَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ :" إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَرْوِيَ حَدِيثًا، فَلْيُرَدِّدْهُ ثَلَاثًا "
Sadaqa bin Al-Fadl told us, Abdullah bin Wahb told us, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Hunayn bin Abi Hakim, on the authority of Nafi’, On the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with him, he said: “If one of you wants to narrate a hadith, let him repeat it three times.”
