`Abdullah bin Buhaina

  • Sahih al-Bukhari – صحيح البخاري – Hadith #6427

    حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُولَيَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ، فَمَضَى فِي صَلاَتِهِ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ انْتَظَرَ النَّاسُ تَسْلِيمَهُ، وَسَجَدَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَسَجَدَ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَسَلَّمَ‏.‏

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina:

    Once Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) led us in prayer, and after finishing the first two rak`at, got up (instead of sitting for at-Tahiyyat) and then carried on with the prayer. When he had finished his prayer, the people were waiting for him to say Taslim, but before saying Tasiim, he said Takbir and prostrated; then he raised his head, and saying Takbir, he prostrated (SAHU) and then raised his head and finished his prayer with Taslim.

    حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ابْنَ بُحَيْنَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ بِلَحْىِ جَمَلٍ مِنْ طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ، وَهْوَ مُحْرِمٌ، فِي وَسَطِ رَأْسِهِ‏.‏ وَقَالَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ فِي رَأْسِهِ‏.‏

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina:

    Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was cupped on the middle of his head at Lahl Jamal on his way to Mecca while he was in a state of Ihram. Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was cupped on his head.

    حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ، فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ‏.‏

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina:

    Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) once led us in a prayer and offered two rak`at and got up (for the third rak`a) without sitting (after the second rak`a). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

    حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَامَ مِنِ اثْنَتَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ لَمْ يَجْلِسْ بَيْنَهُمَا، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ‏.‏

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina:

    Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) got up after the second rak`a of the Zuhr prayer without sitting in between (the second and the third rak`at). When he finished the prayer he performed two prostrations (of Sahu) and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

    حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هُرْمُزَ، مَوْلَى بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ـ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً مَوْلَى رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ـ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ابْنَ بُحَيْنَةَ ـ وَهْوَ مِنْ أَزْدِ شَنُوءَةَ وَهْوَ حَلِيفٌ لِبَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى بِهِمُ الظُّهْرَ فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُولَيَيْنِ لَمْ يَجْلِسْ، فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا قَضَى الصَّلاَةَ، وَانْتَظَرَ النَّاسُ تَسْلِيمَهُ، كَبَّرَ وَهْوَ جَالِسٌ، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ‏.‏

    Narrated `Abdullah bin Buhaina:

    (he was from the tribe of Uzd Shanu’a and was the ally of the tribe of `Abdul-Manaf and was one of the companions of the Prophet): Once the Prophet (ﷺ) led us in the Zuhr prayer and stood up after the second rak`a and did not sit down. The people stood up with him. When the prayer was about to end and the people were waiting for him to say the Taslim, he said Takbir while sitting and prostrated twice before saying the Taslim and then he said the Taslim.”
