Farwah b. Nawfal quoted his father as saying that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to Nawfal (his father)

Ibrahim b. Maisarah reported that he heard Tawus as saying: I was sitting with Ibn ‘Umar when a man came to him, and said: Did Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch), in varnished jar and in gourd? Thereupon he said: Yes.

  • Sunan Abu Dawud – Hadith #5057

Farwah b. Nawfal quoted his father as saying that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to Nawfal (his father): Recite (the Surah) ‘Say, O you disbelievers!’ and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism.
