أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ كَانَ أَنَسٌ يَأْمُرُ بِالتَّذْنُوبِ فَيُقْرَضُ .

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرْبَعَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ . قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ مَنْ أَبُو زَيْدٍ قَالَ أَحَدُ عُمُومَتِي . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .Narrated Qatadah: that Anas bin Malik said: "Four gathered the Qur'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), all of them are from the Ansar: Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit, and Abu Zaid." I said to Anas: "Who is Abu Zaid?" He said: "One of my uncles." -

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قال حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قال حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ الشُّونِيزُ دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ السَّامَ . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ حَبَّةً فَيَجْعَلُهُنَّ فِي خِرْقَةٍ فَلْيَنْقَعْهُ فَيَتَسَعَّطُ بِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِي مَنْخَرِهِ الأَيْمَنِ قَطْرَتَيْنِ وَفِي الأَيْسَرِ قَطْرَةً وَالثَّانِي فِي الأَيْسَرِ قَطْرَتَيْنِ وَفِي الأَيْمَنِ قَطْرَةً وَالثَّالِثُ فِي الأَيْمَنِ قَطْرَتَيْنِ وَفِي الأَيْسَرِ قَطْرَةً ."Qatadah said: "It was narrated to me that Abu Hurairah said:'Ash-Shuniz is a cure for every disease except As-Sam.' Qatadah said: "One takes twenty-one seeds daily, and puts them in a cloth, then infuses (water) and sniffs two drops in his right nostril, and one drop in the left. The second (day) two drops are sniffed in the left, and one drop in the right. The third (day) two drops in the right and one drop in the left." -
Jami’ al-Tirmidhi – جامع الترمذي – Hadith #2137
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قال حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ، قال حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَخَذْتُ ثَلاَثَةَ أَكْمُئٍ أَوْ خَمْسًا أَوْ سَبْعًا فَعَصَرْتُهُنَّ فَجَعَلْتُ مَاءَهُنَّ فِي قَارُورَةٍ فَكَحَلْتُ بِهِ جَارِيَةً لِي فَبَرَأَتْ ."Qatadah said: "It was narrated to me that Abu Hurairah said: 'I took three truffles, or five, or seven, and pressed them. Then I put their liquid in a bottle, and I used it on the eyes of a slave girl of mine so she was cured.'" -

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا . فَقِيلَ الأَكْلُ قَالَ ذَاكَ أَشَدُّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .Narrated Qatadah: From Anas: "The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited that a man should drink while standing." (Qatadah said:) So it was said: "And eating ?" He (Anas) said: "That is worse."This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ نَعْلاَهُ لَهُمَا قِبَالاَنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ .Narrated Qatadah: From Anas: "The sandals of the Prophet (ﷺ) had two straps."This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
He said: There are narrations on this topic from Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Hurairah.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ نَعْلُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهُمَا قِبَالاَنِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .Narrated Qatadah: "I asked Anas bin Malik: 'How were the sandals of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ? He said: 'They had two straps.'" -

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" عَلَى الْيَدِ مَا أَخَذَتْ حَتَّى تُؤَدِّيَ " . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ ثُمَّ نَسِيَ الْحَسَنُ فَقَالَ هُوَ أَمِينُكَ لاَ ضَمَانَ عَلَيْهِ . يَعْنِي الْعَارِيَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ إِلَى هَذَا وَقَالُوا يَضْمَنُ صَاحِبُ الْعَارِيَةِ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ لَيْسَ عَلَى صَاحِبِ الْعَارِيَةِ ضَمَانٌ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُخَالِفَ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَأَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ إِسْحَاقُ .Narrated Qatadah: From Al-Hasan, from Samurah, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Upon the hand is what it took, until it is returned." Qatadah said: "Then Al-Hasan forgot, so he said: 'It is something you entrusted, he is not liable for it.' " Meaning the borrowed property.This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Some of the people pf knowledge, among the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) and others, followed this Hadith. They said that the possessor of the borrowed thing is liable. This is the view of Ash-Shafi'i and Ahmad. Some of the people of knowledge among the Companions and others said that the possessor of the borrowed this is not liable unless there is dispute. This is the view of Sufyan Ath-Thawri and the people of Al-Kufah, and it is the view of Ishaq.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَمْ حَجَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ حَجَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ وَاعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعَ عُمَرٍ عُمْرَةٌ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ وَعُمْرَةُ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَعُمْرَةٌ مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ وَعُمْرَةُ الْجِعِرَّانَةِ إِذْ قَسَّمَ غَنِيمَةَ حُنَيْنٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَحَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ هُوَ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ هُوَ جَلِيلٌ ثِقَةٌ وَثَّقَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ .Qatadah narrated: "I said to Anas bin Malik: 'How many times did the Prophet perform Hajj?' He said: 'He performed one Hajj and he performed four Umrah: An Umrah during Dhul-Qa'dah; the Umrah of Al-Hudaibiyah, and Umrah with his Hajj, and an Umrah from Al-Ji'irranah when he divided up the war spoils of Hunain.'"
